  INTERGRATION FOR STIMULATION

 Kindergarten Class


We currently have up to  2 kindergarten classes on compound that are both integrated classes with special needs and normal children. The curriculum that governs these classes is that of which is  mandated by the ministry for every school across the island.However our staff are trained in profession on the range of disabilities and the different instructional approaches used to educate these students.The ratio of the classes are usually 10 student : 2 teachers. Some of the disability conditions we facilitate are : learning disorders, Autism on all spectrum, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, conduct disorder Cerebral Palsy; Seizures; Chromosomes Defects; Chi Du Chat; Down Syndrome; late development and psychological disorder among other.

​Primary Unit

our primary unit is comprise of a full group of special needs children who are functional and somewhat independent in their classroom and their environment. Base on their individual needs and challenges they are placed in appropriate special unit classes with intervention design to meet their needs. The general curriculum is also used as we treat these children with normalcy and allow them to belong.

Junior High


At Adonijah our junior students are enrolled in a comprehensive program that prepares them for transitioning into society as well as to sit external examinations. 

Special Education Unit

our special unit caters to students with sever disabilities where theraputic plans and programs are designed geared towards individual needs.

Life Skills

The Essentail Life Skills Training Program provides the basic for facilitating the transition from school to adult life. The program serves to enable our special youths in becoming proficient in basic life demanding activities. The program therefore provides an oppertunity for special individuals in becoming self- sufficient and independent contributors to society. The program goal expands on interpersonal, personal management, and practical living skills that increase the potential for living more independently. Personal management skills features conflicy resolution; self esteem;social skills and self confidence while practical living skills on the other hand involves clothing care, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and house chores etc.
